KY House
Ha Tinh, Vietnam2026Completed
Description
A house for an extended family in Ha Tinh, arranged as a series of connected volumes around a shaded garden. Generous roof overhangs and cross ventilation respond directly to the region's hot summers and heavy rains.
Design Concept
The concept, "Shelter and Garden", pairs a robust protective envelope with a soft green core. The heavy roof and masonry hold the weather at bay, while the garden keeps daily life cool, open, and shared.
